NORTH HERO VILLAGE MASTER PLAN
The Town of North Hero has received a Municipal Planning Grant from the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development to develop a Village Master Plan. The exploratory project aims to engage the community in defining appropriate options for bicyle and pedestrian safety improvements to support the people who work, live or come to the Village daily in addition to seasonal visitors. This plan will identify potential site-specific and appropriate safety improvements through infrastructure and streetscaping in the North Hero Village.
This project is guided by a Project Steering Committee of North Hero representatives and lead by Northwest Regional Planning Commission in conjunction with Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc.
The purpose of the open house is to clarify the community’s vision and level of support for potential pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements in the Village District, and to receive feedback on a variety of potential options.
