Northwest Regional Planning Commission is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: MVRT Kiosks, Signage and Trail Amenities.

Separate sealed Bids from qualified contractors for Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail Kiosks, Signage and Trail Amenities will be received by Greta Brunswick, Senior Planner, Northwest Regional Planning Commission at 75 Fairfield Street, St. Albans, Vermont 05478 until 1:00PM, TUESDAY JUNE 29, 2021. A public bid opening via Zoom will occur immediately after the bid submittal deadline.

The Project includes the following Work:
Implementation of the newly developed Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail Wayfinding Plan through 5 new kiosks, wayfinding signage and other trail amenities.


The Project must be completed by September 23, 2021.

We invite you to submit a proposal for furnishing audit services for the Northwest Regional Planning Commission (NRPC) for up to a three year period. NRPC is one of eleven regional planning commissions in the State of Vermont, and is a political subdivision of the State. NRPC’s fiscal year runs from July 1-June 30; our current overall budget is approximately $4,232,000. The Northwest Regional Planning Commission has been awarded Federal Funds through the Agency of Transportation, Agency of Natural Resources, VT Emergency Management, VT Department of Public Safety, U.S. Economic Development Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency; State funds through the Agency of Commerce and Community Development, and VT Agency of Transportation, and a number of other local and private funding sources.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS - Planning, Engineering & Environmental Services


The NRPC seeks to select qualified and innovative contractors to provide a range of services to the NRPC for a two-year period. The NRPC may extend one or more of the contracts for up to two additional one-year periods. Contract extensions will be based on contractor performance for the prior contract periods and availability of funds for projects under a specific topic area. The program will commence in July 2021 and extend through June 30, 2023, with possible extensions to June 30, 2024 and June 30, 2025. For more information click here.

Architectural and Environmental Services Town of South Hero Old White Meeting House


The Town of South Hero seeks proposals from consultants with proven expertise in the fields of architecture and environmental services to complete the work outlined in Section II – Scope of Work.  The Town has received a Planning Grant from the Vermont Community Development Program (VCDP) to fund architectural, engineering, historic and environmental services related to the restoration of the Old White Meeting House, a historic building located at 320 US-2, South Hero, VT 05486.  The goal of the Town, as identified in the previous planning stage, is to bring the building into year-round use as a community space, as well as ensure its continued use as a local benefit shop on the second floor. To this end, the Town seeks to restore and weatherize the existing structure, add a bathroom to the facility, and make modifications necessary to ensure ADA compliance.

Proposals must be submitted by email by 4:00 PM on May 27, 2021. Proposals or amendments received after this deadline will not be considered.

The Almond Blossoms Schoolhouse Child Center invites bonded General Contractors to bid on general construction and renovation work at the Almond Blossoms Schoolhouse Child Center, at 233-235 Lake Street, St. Albans, Vermont. INVITATION TO BID - Enosburgh Salt and Sand Shed Construction

LOCATION: The Town Highway Garage is located approximately 160-ft south of the intersection of VT Route 108 and Tyler Branch Road, north of the Tyler Branch of the Missisquoi River. The proposed salt & sand shed is located approximately 190’ West of VT 108.

TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Work to be performed under this project includes: The Construction of a new salt and sand shed, and all related site work.

CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE: The Contract shall be completed on or before September 17th, 2021.
