Overview
The Town of Bakersfield is working on an update of the Town Plan, which describes the community’s vision for the future of the Town. It guides the Town’s actions around zoning, the development of public infrastructure, and other regulatory and non-regulatory actions. The plan will identify high priority goals and actions for the Town over the next eight years and beyond.

Bakersfield Town Plan Update Community Dinner and Workshop
When: Thursday, November 6, 2025, 6-8pm
Where: Bakersfield Town Hall
Come share your vision for the town and talk about issues that are important to you as we plan for the future of Bakersfield. All residents are invited to attend. Pizza, cider donuts and pies will be provided. We hope to see you there!

The survey will be open until November 24, 2025. Paper copies are also available at the Bakersfield Town Hall.
Project Schedule and Materials
The Bakersfield Planning Commission usually meets the first Monday of each month at 7pm. Starting in December, we will be drafting updates to the plan, and the public is invited to attend. Materials will be posted in advance. Details on the schedule of work are listed below:
